In 2015 and 2016 I was gripped more than ever by a mania for drag. Together with my good judy Anya Steffler I put on two events (titled Yaassss Kween) that presented queer dance tunes and performances by local drag queens. Watching the sweaty gays dance and cheer that night while Barbie Pinkalicious dropped to the floor of the Jane Bond in a split was maybe the closest I've ever felt to paradise.
