REPRODUCTION (WIP), 2023
Reproduction: Birth, Death and Queer Magic is part how-to manual for at-home insemination and part graphic memoirette about the birth of my son and death of my parents. I am very grateful to Pat The Dog and their Microgrant program and to the Waterloo Region Arts Fund for their generous support in the creation of this zine.
Text Collective was a digital residency facilitated by Lauren Prousky structured around bi-monthly meetings for writers and text-based artists of marginalized genders including women, two-spirited people and gender diverse individuals including non-binary and trans people. The goal was to create a supportive space where we discuss our work, flesh out ideas, share resources and talk/commiserate/celebrate with peers.
Below is a collaborative zine featuring participant work. Physical copies are available at Button Factory Arts and all proceeds will be donated to Indigenous Food Sovereignty Waterloo Region.
